Happy Fourth! We would love to take a moment and wish all of you red-blooded Americans a great holiday season. Raise up your glasses for a toast… whiskey for our friends and beer for our horses. While you are out drinking and Q’ing don’t forget to say a prayer for all of our friends and family in foreign lands defending freedom and protecting our country. The 4th means so much more to us than just partying. Although anyone who knows American Ringer can attest to the fact that we loooove to party, we always think good thoughts for the brave soldiers that are away from their loved ones and homes while we’re enjoying our freedom. Be safe and have a great weekend, but most of all remember why we celebrate the Fourth, and it ain’t simply to see well endowed chicks rocking Dixie and Stars and Bars bikini tops, although that always puts a smile on my face. Stay healthy and be good. –ZOD THE THANKFUL

Living the dream at American Ringer Clothing Co. and totally set for summer! I usually rock some of our more obscure Rock or Movie tees when I’m down in Hermosa or Manhattan… and boy do I get attention. Then again it might also be because of my mullet and chops combo! Whooo-eeee it is hard goshdamn work making something this pretty look so ugly! Especially when adorned with American Ringer rarities. I hate to say but we’re all sold out of Avenger stuff with the exception of a few minty, mint-mint Thor and Hulk tees. You should get yours now so you can wear it to the Green Lantern premier! I really hope a 21 Jumpstreet movie is released soon, now that would be something sweet. Rock out and rock on with AR all night long! –GENERAL ZOD

Blah, blah, blah THOR is dope… O.K. I believe everyone, but one small request… Stop asking me for THOR shirts. We don’t have many, as he wasn’t the most popular 70’s Superhero around so not many vintage prints were ever made of him. Yeah, I know you can get the stuff at Target or Wal-Mart or Macy’s but can you get a 70’s tee rocking a transformation scene of a sideburn sporting Bruce Banner turning into the Hulk at those places? I think not, so check out what superheroes we do currently have and make sure to snag your Thor tees before they sell out. This vintage stuff doesn’t last forever and once it is gone there are no more cracks or crevices in this universe for us to find more. I think I’ll see Thor this weekend while wearing a Captain America shirt from our vintage stock. After all what better hero to sport than the very first Avenger? Cruise through the site and choose wisely for the summer blockbusters are upon us! LATER SKATERS –MOVIE LOVING ZOD

We’re so excited about the new Cap movie. I must admit that Zod do love me some superheroes. Big Boss has a sealed copy of the 90’s Captain America on VHS and a sweet bootleg of the ’79 Cap on Bluray. I’ve seen both but can’t wait for the new version as it looks awesome. I’m only sad that I can’t watch the second and third installments right after the first film! Unfortunately we’ve almost sold out of Captain America prints so get yours while you still can. I’m also stoked about the Thor film releasing next month. Big Boss has five AFA graded boxed and carded Mego Thors sitting on his desk. I guess AFA is strict because his 90 looks about perfect and although rates the highest in the world he is still on the lookout for a 95… so if you happen to have one we would love to buy it from you. I’m well aware that it might be a few thousand but I’m sure we can find it in our budget. Besides it would make a great gift since the Big Guy’s birthday is right around the corner. Oh and check out the sweet Thor shirts we have on the chopping block. The artwork is awesome and no other company could get them to work… the magicians in the print shop worked their magic just to bring them to you before the premiere. Enjoy the weekend as it appears to be 89 degrees here in So. Cal. and definitely naked weather. Rock out and rock on with American Ringer! –GENERAL ZOD THE LOVER OF ALL THINGS THOR AND CAP!

Shenanigans! St. Patty’s Day is already here and the beach is loaded with drunken beach patrons sharing shots of Jameson and pounding pints of Guinness. The celebration started last weekend and is seamlessly carrying through this weekend. Dare to give Hermosians a reason to enjoy the SoCal nightlight, drink, and party. Ahhh, it’s one of the many reasons that both Hermosa and Manhattan Beaches attract the fun loving youngens. On a totally different note, really different note… you need to check out the new ZICA Toys BUCK ROGERS in the 25th CENTURY figures. Once again we see folks from the Star Wars generation expressing their love for the retro feel of MEGO action figures. The first wave is a two pack which includes both Buck and Tiger Man. Are they worth the $60 price tag? Um… Yeah! Big Boss already bought a case and dropped off a set at my desk last week. I must admit that these are way better than Mattel’s attempt to recapture the glory and feel of Mego days long past. I actually can’t wait to get the rest of the collection. I’m only hoping Big Boss continues his generosity and plops the little goodies in my cubicle as they are released. Seriously if you haven’t had a chance to check them out yet… do it! I’m sure with the new movie in the works that these will continue to go up in price, hopefully more than my recent stock blunders. The only question is who should play Buck and Wilma? Drop me an email with your best casting ideas. At any rate, we’re continuing to bring you the coolest in authentic vintage couture so make sure and get yours before they disappear. PEACE, GENERAL ZOD THE LEPPRACHAUN
